1950s Khakis

This piece is one-of-a-kind—we only have one available.

Khakis were worn by the US military as early as 1912 by naval aviators, but they are most iconic due to their use by the US Army in World War II. As soldiers came back from war, the surplus of military issue khaki's transcended the service uniform and became a preppy college campus staple in the 1950s, only to be reclaimed and rocked by subcultures across American history like rockabillies, greasers, and southern California cholo style.
